Our Story

Founding:

Seklo was founded in 1996. We were founded by a family with 30 years of experience within the production of wooden clogs. The primary production of wooden clogs was soon replaced with the production of felt, leather, and wool based sandals for the house, dry and warm weather, and other various purposes varying across all kinds of professions!

Present:

At the beginning of 2003, we invested more resources in the construction of a new production facility, the acquisition of new machines and the development of new technology. For the most part, we sell our products to domestic markets, countries of the region of Croatia, countries of the European Union, and now the United States of America. We regularly visit conventions such as “GDS” (Germany), Expo Riva Schuh (Italy), and this year we even visited conventions in Las Vegas, Nevada! The company is 100% privately owned and employs about 80 workers, with a daily production of 1800-2000 pairs.

Throughout the past years we have developed three brands: Seklo Classic, Dr.Feet, and InGreen. All 3 different brands bring their own unique and special traits to our customers overall.

Seklo Classic Footwear:

Continuing the family tradition, Seklo is a modern company that respects and monitors all ecological standards, technological developments and modern design. Seklo has a long history of presence on the market and our main activity is the production of polyurethane sandals for the house and dry weather. It is primarily oriented around our regular customers, who have been buying our products for many years. Seklo Classic Footwear is for people who seek a very good quality and durable sandal for a reasonable price.

Dr. Feet:

With the brand Dr. Feet we entered the market of top-notch, anatomically shaped leather footwear. Dr. Feet products are recognizable by the finest quality and comfort. They are made of Polyurethane and natural materials such as Wool. They are distinguished by exceptional anatomic properties that contribute to foot health, as well as being very light weight. All of our sandals are handmade as well, adding a distinct uniqueness to every pair.

inGreen:

InGreen Footwear is characterized by top design. It is primarily catered for younger generations. This footwear always follows the latest trends in fashion and design worldwide. Made exclusively of the finest artificial and natural materials.

Universal Comfort:

With these three brands we are present in all major chains of footwear stores in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia, Germany, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Israel, & Sweden. We are also in a number of smaller specialized stores and now selling Online around the United States of America.  Our name is synonymous with comfort and quality.
